Healing Intentions 

Welcome to the Healing Intentions website.

My name is Melanie McIntyre and I am a qualified Hypnotherapist and Reiki Master/Teacher.  I have a practice specialising in healing and personal and spiritual development.  I also run Reiki workshops for those who wish to learn how to heal themselves and others.  

During my time as a therapist I have noticed that most of my clients have one thing in common; they all have a desire to feel happy and well with themselves and their lives.  Whether they are coming to lose weight or quit smoking, have physical illness or anxiety or depression, basically there are issues in their lives that are affecting their overall happiness.

When I work with a client, my aim is to help them to take control of their life.  To get them back on track, focussing on what they want out of life rather than what they don't want and I do this using a combination of Motivational coaching, Hypnotherapy and Spiritual development techniques.

I am a great believer in the power of positive thoughts and emotions and that we can use them  to bring about a truly wonderful life.  If you are interested in reading more about my work please feel free to browse through the other pages of this site where there is more information. 

My practice is based in Belper, Derbyshire  which is close to Derby and the surrounding areas of the Peak District.

I completed my training as a Hypnotherapist with Motivation Partnership, Nr Aviemore in Scotland, gaining a Diploma in Hypnotherapy and NLP.  I am UKCHO Registered and a member of the British institute of Hypnotherapy.
